“Self-aware” is a newer term in the emotional health world. Having an understanding of self-awareness offers us a huge “ah-ha” moment when it comes to our relationships. Have you ever wondered why it is that people walk away from a conversation with you and perceived it the exact opposite of how you meant it? Well, it’s because people perceive your words and your non-verbal in a completely different way than your intended purpose.
